Box Score PHOENIX, AZ – The Arizona Christian Firestorm volleyball team fell on Friday night to the 18th ranked Vanguard University by a final of 3-0 in Costa Mesa, California. Final scores were 19-25, 19-25, and 14-25.
With the loss, the Firestorm fall to 7-7 overall and 2-5 in GSAC play. With the victory, 18th ranked Vanguard University improves to 16-6 overall and 5-2 in GSAC play.
Brenna Bailey led ACU with 21 total attacks and six kills. Haley Worden chimed in with seven digs on the evening.
Vanguard thoroughly dominated the matches' thanks in large part to Charlotte Heerlyn's 22 total attacks; with his 16 kills. Jessica Chase had 16 total attacks and Jessica Neves had 11.
The Arizona Christian Firestorm volleyball team will next be in action on tomorrow (Saturday), when they continue their roadtrip at Concordia University at 2pm. The Firestorm will not return home to Phoenix until October 23rd when they host Westmont College.
