Rocklin, CA- Arizona Christian fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-16) at William Jessup on Friday night.  Junior Breanna Scott had nine kills and 13 digs.

The Warriors (15-7, 2-4 GSAC) committed a service error to begin the match to give the Firestorm (9-8, 1-5 GSAC) a brief 1-0 lead.  But WJU recorded the next five points to take control of the set.

Set two opened with a kill for William Jessup.  Scott answered with a kill.  Two points later, Junior Jackie Stein tied the score again at 2-2 with a kill.  However, ACU could not slow WJU from there.

In the third set, a kill from Stein and two service aces by Sophomore Delaney Harris highlighted Arizona Christian taking a 5-0 edge.  The lead held up until 13-12.  After a lead change, Scott laid down another kill to tie the set at 14-14.  Unfortunately, William Jessup closed out the match on 11-2 run.

Behind Scott's nine kills, Stein delivered seven kills on the night.

The Firestorm will continue their Northern California trip with a match at Menlo on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
