Arizona Christian University combined for eight errors on the day, dropping two Golden State Athletic Conference games to Hope International.

In game one, Hope International collected ten hits to ACU's seven and defeated the Firestorm by the final score of 9-4.  Seven of the Royals ten runs were scored in the second and third inning.

Seven different Firestorm players collected one hit apiece in the contest.  Sophomore Jordan Meier ended the game going 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Junior Robert Milacki started on the mound throwing 2.2 innings allowing seven runs (four earned) on seven hits while striking out four.   Junior Baylor Giannini pitched in relief tossing 4.1 innings allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and striking out four.  Senior Tony Pins pitched the final two innings of the contest allowing no runs and no hits.

The Firestorm committed four errors in the contest.

Game two, much like game one, ended in a 3-0 loss to the Royals (9-5, 3-3 GSAC). Hope International plated one run in the second and two runs in the third which proved to be enough for the victory.

The Firestorm (6-7, 1-5 GSAC) had two players collect a multi-hit game.  Junior Christian Maggi went 2-for-3 while Senior Dom Rodriguez ended the contest 2-for-3.

Sophomore Trevor McGee started on the mound tossing five innings allowing three runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out four. Junior River Carbone came out of the bullpen to finish the game tossing 2.0 innings allowing no runs on one hit.

Arizona Christian University takes to the road for their first true road test next weekend when they travel to Atherton, CA, for a three-game series vs Menlo.  Friday's contest is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm PT/ 3:00 pm AT.
