Fullerton, CA- ACU Baseball enjoyed playing under the lights for the second time this season as they pounded out 18 hits and 11 runs to collect a road GSAC victory over Hope International. The Firestorm defeated the Royals 11-3 at Amerige Park on Friday.

ACU has two big innings- scoring four runs in the second and five runs in the fourth. 

Sophomore Cohen Heckethorn led the Firestorm (11-20, 6-15 GSAC) at the plate going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI.  Senior Dom Rodriguez went 3-for-6 with two runs scored and one RBI.  Senior Marco Castilla ended the day going 3-for-5 with one run scored. 

Senior Robert Milacki (3-4) picked up the win after tossing five innings allowing two runs (unearned) on one hit while striking out seven.  Senior Tony Pins, Sophomore Chandler McKinney, Senior Colton Wheeler, and Senior Austin Bright all tossed one inning of relief in the victory. 

The Firestorm and Royals (16-18, 8-14 GSAC) return to action on Saturday with a doubleheader.
