Phoenix, AZ- On Saturday, Arizona Christian won game one in walk off fashion winning 3-2 in 10 innings over Bethesda. The Firestorm dropped game two 3-2 to the Flames.  In between games ACU honored the 12 seniors playing their final games.

In game one ACU took an early 1-0 lead in the second inning before surrendering two runs in the fourth. The Firestorm (22-31) tied the game at one in the eight and won the game in the tenth scoring one run on a walk off sacrifice fly by Senior Kyle Robbins.

Robbins and Sophomore Cohen Heckethorn both drove in one run a piece in the game.  Five different ACU hitters all collected one hit each in the game.

Sophomore Trevor McGee started on the mound for the Firestorm tossing six innings allowing two runs on four hits while striking out three.  Junior Steven Butts, Junior Stephen Streltzoff, and Junior River Carbone all saw action on the bump out of the bullpen.  Carbone earned the win after throwing two scoreless innings moving to 2-2 on the season.

Game two stayed a scoreless game until the fourth inning when both teams plated one run each. The Flames (11-36-1) were then able to plate two runs in the sixth and the Firestorm could only respond with one falling 3-2 in the contest.

Robbins went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, and run scored.  Senior Dom Rodriguez went 2-for-4 while Senior Adam Wolfe ended the game going 2-for-3.  Senior Michael Dunnebecke went 1-for-3 with a double and run scored. 

Senior Dillon Eaves started on the mound tossing two innings.  Senior Tony Pins, Senior Colton Wheeler, Senior Jonathan Nunnally, Jr. and Senior Austin Bright all pitched in relief.  Nunnally suffered the loss.
