Lake Elsinore, CA- ACU Softball concluded their time in the TSC So Cal NAIA College Classic on Saturday.  The Firestorm came up short in both games as No. 1 Southern Oregon and Carroll scored in the late innings.  Junior Elsy Guzman was 4-7 with 2 RBI on the day.

• SOU opened the scoring with a run in the first
• P. Carli and Guzman both scored after drawing walks in the third
• Score remained 2-1 until the top of the seventh
• With two outs, the Raiders recorded five straight hits to score three runs
• The Firestorm went down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the seventh

Inside Game Two

• Four singles produced three runs in the bottom of the first for the Firestorm
• Pinch runner Mady Carli and San Pedro both stole a base and scored on a single from P. Carli
• After the Saints scored a run in the top of the third, Stewart connected on her first home run of 2020
• The Firestorm were held off the scoreboard the rest of the game
• Carroll tied the game with five in the fourth before taking the lead with single runs in the fifth and seventh
