Arizona Christian And Life Pacific To Play Two

Glendale, Ariz.- Beginning on Friday night, Arizona Christian Men's Basketball will host Life Pacific for two GSAC games.  Friday will be meeting number 58 between the programs- the most games played by ACU against a single opponent.  The Firestorm will look to stay undefeated in conference play.

Arizona Christian

The Firestorm (ranked fifth in the NAIA) last played on January 23 and beat San Diego Christian 100-64.  Bryce Davis scored 16 points.  De'Ron Kyle and Xander Bowers added 15 points.  The Firestorm are averaging 89.1 points per game while allowing 72.1 points.

Series Notes

Since 2015-16 when the Warriors restarted their athletic programs, ACU holds a 4-1 edge against LPU which includes winning both games last year.  However, between 1986 and 2007, the teams met 52 times with ACU holding a 38-14 advantage.

 

Life Pacific

On Saturday, the Warriors lost 90-88 in overtime to San Diego Christian.  Jimmy Rodriguez and Kyler Villareal both produced 18 point and 10 rebound double-doubles.  Adam Saavedra and Ethan Galang added 15 points each.  The Warriors are averaging 70.9 points and allowing 76 points.
