Women's Tennis Loses Battle with OUAZ

SURPRISE, Ariz. - The ACU women's tennis team (2-9; 2-4 GSAC) fell in conference play Wednesday afternoon to OUAZ (4-4; 4-2 GSAC), 5-2 at the Surprise Tennis Center.

ACU is now 5-2 all-time against OUAZ and has now lost two-consecutive matches.

Thoughts From Coach:

 

"This was definitely a tough match for the girls.  I think we missed a lot of opportunities and I really think it was a match that we could have won.  But overall if you look at the scores from our first match with Ottawa when we got swept I think you can definitely see the improvements that we've made and I'm thrilled about that.  We still haven't put together a complete performance yet, but we're a much better team now than we were six weeks ago so I'm really pleased with where we're at."
