Santa Clarita, CA - The Arizona Christian University women's basketball team (15-6, 5-5 GSAC) couldn't keep pace with undefeated the Master's University (21-0, 10-0 GSAC) as they fell 94-68 on Thursday evening at MacArthur Center.

Game Details:

The Mustangs controlled the game from the start as they raced out to a 10 point lead but the Firestorm didn't give up and got back within six at 22-16 at the end of the first quarter. The Mustangs though seized the momentum in the second as they outscored the Firestorm 24-14 to take a 46-30 lead at halftime. The Firestorm didn't give up the fight as they started the quarter on a 6-3 run but they couldn't stop the Mustangs as they pushed their lead to 71-48 at the end of the third quarter. The Firestorm used a late run to close back within 18 but the Mustangs answered with their own run as the Firestorm fell 94-68 despite 17 points from Alyssa Alvarez.
