Glendale, AZ - The Arizona Christian University Beach Volleyball team (1-1) opened their season on Friday afternoon splitting a pair of matches against GSAC opponents Life Pacific and The Master's at Victory Lane Sports Park. The Firestorm took down No. 18 Life Pacific 5-0 and fell in a close one to No. 6 The Master's 3-2.

After the matched Head Coach Sarah Blomgren stated, "I am super pleased with this season opener and how our team showed up on day one! We came ready to go and locked in and although we came up just short against The Master's. I think we have not yet reached our full potential and our goal is to peak mid season. I am excited for the growth."
