Costa Mesa, Calif.- No. 8 Arizona Christian started their final regular season road trip of the season with a victory over Vanguard in the Pit.  Senior Robby Wilson topped ACU with his 19 points.

• Vanguard needed just 12 seconds to score the first two points of the game
• ACU countered with a 9-0 run- four Firestorm scored, Johnson had 3 points
• The Lions used a 9-2 effort to force an 11-11 tie with 12:49 left in the half
• Hayden connected on back-to-back jumpers to give the Firestorm a lead they would not give up
• After VU cut their deficit to just one, ACU built as large as a ten point edge in the closing minutes of the half
• Neither team had a double digit scorer before the break
• Up just seven, ACU took advantage of a VU technical foul and pushed out to a double digit lead for the final 16 plus minutes
