- Smith locked up in a pitcher's dual with the GSAC Pitcher of the Year
- The Firestorm had runners on base in five of the seven innings but could not score
- Smith had a couple of 1-2-3 innings
- The only run of the game came in the fourth after an error extended the inning
ACU Game Two Stats

- After four complete innings, the teams remained tie at 0-0
- Miles sent a single back up the middle to plate Buckley and give ACU a 1-0 cushion in the fifth
- But the Spirit scored four in the bottom of the inning
- In the top of the sixth, Fryklund doubled to bring home Anderson
- Fogleman followed with a single to score Fryklund
- ACU left the bases loaded to end the inning
- Fryklund faced just three batters in seventh thanks to a double play
- With Kirsten Garcia representing the final chance, she drove a ball to deep center but the ball was caught at the fence

"It is always hard to end a season, but I am proud of the way our team competed today. Savannah shined through 10 innings of one run softball. Our offense has struggled to get timely hits down the stretch, but overall a good season that has come to an end."
