Facing off against a top-15 program in the country, the Firestorm had their work cut out for them in tonight's game. From the opening whistle the Lions came out firing, jumping out to a 9 point lead in the first quarter, which would extend to 18 points before the 2nd. The Firestorm refused to stay down for long, with the trio of Alvarez, Marin, and Gunn leading the charge to cut the lead down to 7 going into halftime. The Lions went on a scoring run in the second half to hand the Firestorm their fourth conference loss of the year.
