Firestorm To End 2023 With Two At Home

Glendale, Ariz.- Before the calendar turns to the 2024 portion of the schedule, Arizona Christian will close out 2023 at home on Thursday and a week from Saturday.

On Monday, the Firestorm wrapped up three games at the Cactus Classic with a last second basket by Dennis Flowers III to beat Providence (MT) 96-94.

Versus the Redhawks, the Firestorm are 13-0 after an 87-56 win last year. Counting Thursday, the last five games have been/will be played at the ACU Events Center.

When facing off with the Buccaneers of Park-Gilbert, Arizona Christian has won all seven meetings. The Firestorm won both meetings last year.

On Thursday, the Redhawks beat West Coast Baptist 112-71. Jamaal Wright topped six scorers in double digit scoring with 20 points.

Park-Gilbert
The Buccaneers lost 90-67 to Dordt on Monday. Caleb Ivy had 19 points. The game was actually played at the ACU Events Center due to scheduling issues at the home court for Park.
