The Firestorm offense came ready to play today, shooting over 50% from the field in the first half, and put up one of their highest first half scores of the season. Brown and Gunn got to work early combing for 22 points and 7 rebounds in just the first two quarters. The Oaks jumped out to a 9 point lead in the first quarter and continued to shoot the ball well in the second quarter, taking a 7 point lead into halftime. ACU's shooting in the field dropped significantly in the second half, shooting under 25% from three and under 40% from the field. The defense stepped up on the other end of the court, only allowing 33 points in the second half, compared to the 50 in the first half. However, Menlo would cling to the lead they had built in the first half and secure the victory on their Senior Day.
