With their backs against the wall ACU needed some big performances in today's game. Santa Cruz came through in a big way putting up 5 scoreless frames en route to his fourth win of the year. ACU utilized a three run second inning to jump out to an early lead, headlined by Terlizzi's 2nd homer of the year, and Titialii's 2 RBI single. The Firestorm tacked on an insurance run in the 7th after Titialii reached on a walk and proceeded to steal 2nd and 3rd base before Andrew Ivy brought him in with a sacrifice fly to left. Durazo would end the scoring in the 8th with an infield single to score Brandon Less and Riley Quinton recorded his fifth save of the season to hand coach Joe McDonald his 400th career win. Congratulations Coach!
