Final Trip To Nor Cal Begins GSAC Action

Glendale, Ariz.- GSAC action will begin on Thursday night for Arizona Christian.  With Menlo and Jessup moving away from the GSAC/NAIA after the athletic year, the men will travel to Northern California for the final time in conference play.

The Firestorm, ranked number ten in the NAIA, will enter GSAC play with a record of 11-3 after beating Park-Gilbert 84-56 on Saturday.  Mikah Blackwell contributed 19 points and 8 rebounds in the win.

Series Notes
The Firestorm have won three straight in the series after the Oaks had won four straight.  Overall, ACU owns a 10-7 record against Menlo.

When challenging the Warriors, Arizona Christian has won 13 straight against Jessup- a perennially top ranked team in the NAIA.  The Firestorm win streak has created a 16-5 overall series record.

Menlo
The Oaks have rolled through their non-conference schedule with a record of 12-1 and won nine straight.  On Saturday, Menlo beat UC Merced 66-59. 

Jessup
The Warriors are 9-4 on the season after winning four straight including a 91-77 win at Simpson on Saturday.
