Glendale, Ariz.- Playing their third match in as many days, Arizona Christian lost to Utah Tech on Saturday.  Lucy Rekasch earned her fourth singles win of the season.

• Utah Tech won the first three singles matches to earn the team win
• Rekasch edged Ya-Chi HSU 7-5, 6-4 to get ACU on the scoreboard
• The final two matches needed tie breaks to be decided but both went in favor of UTU

"Honestly this was a great match for us. Utah Tech is one of the best teams we will play this year and we gave them everything they could handle. After tough matches on Thursday and Friday the biggest thing we wanted to see was how well we would be able to compete today and the girls did a phenomenal job. I am really proud of their effort and energy despite being pretty beat up and I know we will be able to use this match to draw on down the road."

Arizona Christian will return to GSAC play when they face OUAZ next week.  There is some confusion if the match will be played on Thursday or Friday in Surprise.  Stay tuned.
