Thoughts from Coach Carlisle
Bethel-
"Awesome start to the trip for the guys. This was probably the best doubles we have played all year and it definitely seemed like we put Bethel on their heels from the start. Hopefully we can take a lot of confidence from this match into the rest of the week."
Northwestern-
"Great learning experience for our guys against one of the best teams in the country tonight. When UNOH plays doubles like they did today I don't think they would lose to any team in the country indoors, but we bounced back really well in singles and had them frustrated at several spots. This was likely the toughest match we will play this season and overall we competed really well. Definitely proud of our effort tonight."
Huntington-
"Sadly this was not our most enjoyable match today. The atmosphere was a lot more hostile than what we are used to or what we were expecting and that definitely rattled us in doubles. I am really proud of the guys for maintaining their composure and giving us a chance in singles. Unfortunately, we just could not pull it out in the end, but we still have big opportunities over the next couple days.  So we will put this one behind us and look forward to tomorrow."
