Coughlin And Van Wie Push Firestorm Back On Top

Glendale, Ariz.- In their Saturday matinee against Life Pacific, Ryan Coughlin and Madison Van Wie led the way as Arizona Christian won in four sets.  The win pushed the Firestorm back on top of the GSAC standings alone by percentage points.

  • Tied at 2-2 to start the match, Jacobus teamed with Tedrow and then Coughlin for two blocks
  • ACU moved ahead before LPU forced a 14-14 tie

"The team came ready to play today.  Losing last week did not go over so well.   Great efforts by my setters.   Both Tedrow and Van Wie did great today." 

Up Next
While all other GSAC foes will be in full swing next week, Arizona Christian will have the week off to rest up.  The Firestorm will not take the court again until Halloween when they host Embry-Riddle (AZ).
