  • All but one half inning the rest of the way had traffic on the bases for both teams
  • NUAZ broke up the scoreless draw with a three run sixth inning
  • Three errors in the seventh inning allowed ACU to score the game tying three runs
  • But the Warriors homered in the eighth to take the final lead
ACU Game Two Stats Inside Game Two
  • Miles singled, stole second and third in just a handful of pitches
  • McCracken produced an RBI groundout to open the scoring
  • Dowdy walked with the bases loaded to make it 2-0 in the first
  • Miles singled again, stole second, and came home on an RBI single from Terzakos
  • NUAZ responded with two in the second and third to grab a 4-3 edge
  • Martin singled and stole two bases before Dowdy walked and Wackowski was hit by a pitch
  • Two batters later, Miles was hit to force in Martin and create a 4-4 tie
  • Terzakos followed with a fielder's choice that just allowed Dowdy to score the game winner
  • ACU escaped two runners (one removed by a nicely executed pickle rundown) in the seventh to earn the win
