Quadri and Monroy Earn GSAC Honors

Glendale, Ariz.- On Thursday, the GSAC announced the 2025 GSAC Women's Tennis All-Conference Team and the Firestorm's of Vittoria Quadri and Madeline Monroy were named All-GSAC. Monroy was also selected as the 2025 GSAC Player of the Year.

Monroy, out of Litchfield Park, AZ, topped Arizona Christian in wins on the season with a 6-0 record and a streak of winning five straight matches. In doubles, Monroy and Quadri had a record of 5-2 when they were playing alongside each other.

Quadri, out of Florence, Italy, had a record of 3-2 on the overall season and a record of 2-2 in playing number two singles. Quadri was also 1-0 when playing alongside Ella Lavender in a match earlier this season.

Head Coach Phil Carlisle stated, "I'm so proud of Maddie and Vittoria! They both had great years, especially within the conference, so I'm so glad they were recognized for that. Maddie was the best player in the conference going all the way back to the fall when she won the ITA tournament, but then to go undefeated during the conference season really cemented that. And as much as we were bummed that Vittoria's season and college career ended prematurely, I'm so happy for her that she at least gets to go out with this honor and recognition."

Congratulations to Quadri and Monroy on the All-GSAC nod.
