Glendale, Ariz.- The Arizona Christian University Softball trio of
Jyden Miles,
Brenna Henry, and
Sierra Lauko were named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Softball Teams which were recently announced by College Sport Communicators (CSC).
To be nominated by their College Sports Communicator (aka SID), a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and competed in 90 percent or started 66 percent of their team's games. A nomination by their CSC earns the student-athlete All-District honors. Select All-District finalists move up to the CSC Academic All-America ballot where a national committee determines the All-America Teams.
Miles, from Sacramento, CA, started all 53 games for ACU Softball leading off and playing second base. The left-hand hitting slapper topped the Firestorm in average (.403) and stolen bases (24).  In May, she completed a perfect effort in pursuit of a degree in political science. Miles was named CSC Academic All-District for the third time with the 2024 nomination resulting in CSC Academic All-American honors.
Henry, hailing from Maple Valley, WA, played first base in all 51 starts for the Firestorm in 2025. The vacuum at first base recorded a perfect fielding percentage in 397 chances. With a near perfect effort in the classroom, Henry graduated with a degree in business administration.  The recent announcement was her first CSC Academic All-District selection.
Lauko, out of Waddell, AZ, led Arizona Christian in home runs (4) and doubles (14) in 2025. The right-hand hitting Firestorm started all 46 games played as a designated player, right fielder or catcher. In the classroom, she is working on a degree in behavioral health. Lauko earned CSC Academic All-District honors in her first year of eligibility.
Ladies- Great work with your education and on the diamond.
