• A 4-0 run by Walla Walla gave them the lead for good in the set
• Thomson used an ace for a 2-0 start to the third set
• A Tedrow kill gave ACU a 5-2 edge

• But the Warriors claimed the last two points for the set and a 2-0 overall lead
• Coughlin started set three with a kill
• Reeser fired off three straight aces for a 5-2 edge
• Tied 18-18, ACU was on the low side of a 7-4 run to end the match

"Today was a tough one for the Firestorm. They did well against a very good Walla Walla team then came back this evening and faced the home team on a Friday night. It was good to get Maddie back and she's playing better. Not having Emmi come with us because she was sick hurt us in the middle but overall we did well against two really good teams. We're getting there. It's gonna take some time."
