Mesa, Ariz. – The Arizona Christian University beach volleyball team collected two GSAC wins on Wednesday at the Arizona Athletic Grounds, defeating La Sierra 3-2 and Life Pacific 4-1.

In a tight battle against La Sierra, the Firestorm earned the victory by clinching three of five flights. Flight 4 was the first to finish, as
Alyssa Robles and
Abigail Nelson dominated their flight with a dominant 21-5, 21-5 sweep.
La Sierra answered quickly by winning flights 2 and 5 win for a 2-1 lead.
The match came down to flights 1 and 3.
Emily Casner and
Emee Fellens forced a 2-2 tie with a win at flight 1 in three sets (21-16, 19-21, 15-11).
Abby Siebert and
Haley Tedrow sealed the victory at flight 3 in three grueling sets- 19-21, 21-14, 18-16.
