Prior to ACU- Spent one season at NCAA Division III Wabash College playing for Head Coach Erik Raeburn… Appeared in one game

Apache Junction High School- Three year varsity player for Head Coaches Dave Aoyagi and Vance Miller… Team Captain and MVP… Passed for 2,870 yards with 32 touchdowns and 9 interceptions as senior… Rushed for 368 yards and eight touchdowns… Accounted for seven touchdowns in back-to-back games (five passing, two rushing versus Higley High School and six passing, one rushing against South Mountain High School)… Also played baseball and basketball… Member of National Honor Society
