Kofa High School- Four year varsity player for Head Coaches Richy Leon and Gabe Ortiz… Guided the Kings to the state semifinals and number three ranking… Three time First Team All-Section III Division III… Four time Pitcher of the Year… Earned Baseball Sports Foundation Award and Team MVP honors… Played in the Division 3A South All-Star Game and All-State Academic All-Star Game… Produced career totals of 122.1 innings, 2.75 ERA, 137 strikeouts… As a hitter, batted .281 with 7 doubles, 9 triples, and 27 RBI… Highlight- throwing 7 innings with 11 strikeouts against Estrella Foothills high School in state quarterfinal game… Also played basketball (two years varsity), golf (three years varsity), and football (one year varsity)… Second Team All-Section in basketball, qualified for state as golfer… Graduated in top 5% of class with 4.2 GPA… Earned Sports Foundation Award- Academic Distinction
