2015-16 (Senior Year): Bobby enters his second season as a member of the Firestorm.
2014-15 (Junior Year): Bobby started 32 games while playing in 34 in his first season with the Firestorm. He averaged 11.2 points, 4.9 assists, and 3.9 rebounds while carrying a 1.8 assist/turnover ratio. Bobby led the GSAC in assists, ranked 7th in steals per game (1.53), ranked 8th in free throw percentage (72.2%), ranked 12th in assist/turnover ratio, ranked 17th in defensive rebounds per game (3.44), and had two double-doubles. He had highs of 19 points (twice), 11 assists (1/16/15 vs. Concordia), and 11 rebounds (2/21/15 vs. Master’s College). Bobby helped the program to their third consecutive NAIA National Championship Tournament and the first ever tournament win in program history as the Firestorm advanced to the Sweet 16.
Prior to ACU: Bobby played two seasons at San Jose City College, who ranked among the top teams in the CCCAA in 2013-14. During his sophomore campaign Bobby averaged 18.7 points, 5.9 assists, and 3.6 rebounds while leading his team to a 19-10 record and a Co-Conference championship. He was named First Team All-Conference for two consecutive years.
High School: A 2011 graduate, Bobby played at Nimitz High School in Houston, Texas where he was named Team MVP, First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Region, and First Team All-State.
Personal: Born November 25, 1992, Bobby hails from Houston, Texas. He is the son of Bobby Gray, Sr. (father) and Mary Clinton (mother). He has one sister Lakeeshun Lewis (30) and two brothers Bobby Gray, Jr. (27) and Terrell Gray (26). Bobby is majoring in Behavior Health.
