2017 (SO)- Appeared in 24 matches for the Firestorm… Collected a team high 13 wins in singles action… Went 7-3 in the number five singles spot in the Firestorm lineup… Finished 16-11 in doubles action… Collected eight wins with partner Marcelo Balderrama… Went a perfect 5-0 in GSAC action with Balderrama as his partner.

Prior to ACU- Played one season at San Diego Mesa College for Head Coach Michael Hootner in 2015… Helped the Olympians win a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship and advance to the state semifinals… Named First Team All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference… Also attended Chemeketa Community College- did not play tennis

Sprague High School- Played four years of varsity tennis for parents Catherine and Gary Wheeler… Helped the Olympians win district all four years and finish fourth in the state once… Named First Team All-Central Valley Conference… Three time district winner- twice as singles player, once as doubles player… Favorite highlight- won district by beating opponent that he had lost to several times in the season… Also played soccer and basketball

Personal- Parents- Gary and Catherine (Kitchen manager) Wheeler… Brothers- Curt (tennis coach at Point Loma Nazarene University), Matt, and Brent… All three brothers played tennis in college… Chose ACU because of the great environment, good outdoor tennis program, class sizes, and sun… Hopes to market sports products… Major is business administration with an emphasis in marketing.
