Prior to ACU- Spent two years playing at Central Arizona under Head Coach Jon Wente… Named All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference... CAC went 90-30 with Hendrix on the team… As a Sophomore, made 18 appearances with 10 starts while ending with an 8-2 record… Threw 68.1 innings with a 2.63 ERA and 54 strikeouts… Helped the Vaqueros make a state playoff run as a Freshman… Appeared in 19 games with three starts… Ended up with a 9-1 record, 45 strikeouts, and a 1.75 ERA in 46.1 innings… Played one season at Northwood University (TX)… Made nine appearances with seven starts on the mound… Had a 3-2 record with 17 strikeouts and 7.15 ERA in 34 innings pitched… Also attended University of Arizona
Millennium High School- Played four years Varsity under Head Coaches Jeff Sellers and Mike Jacobs… Earned All-5A Desert West League and Team MVP honors… Guided the Falcons to the state playoffs his last two years which includes advancing to the state semifinals as a Senior… Finished with a career batting average of .423 in his four years at MHS… Produced career numbers of 115 runs, 57 RBI, 28 doubles, 9 triples, and 11 home runs… On the mound his last two years, he delivered his way to a 16-8 record while starting 25 of 26 appearances, pitching 15 complete games, striking out 158 batters, and walking just 68 batters… As a Senior, his hitting line was .491 thanks to a MHS record of 56 hits with 50 runs scored, nine doubles, and nine home runs… In 2011, his pitching line was 9-4 with a 2.50 ERA and 72 strikeouts… Played football as a Freshman
