2024 (JR)- Appeared in 10 meets… Competed in Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, and Hammer Throws… Recorded Personal Bests in all four: Shot Put (38’ 9.5”), Discus (153’ 3”), Hammer (135’ 5”), and Javelin (162’ 6”) … All-GSAC in the Discus (2nd) and Javelin (2nd).
2023 (SO)- Appeared in seven meets… Competed in javelin throw, discus, shot put, and hammer throw… Set career-bests in shot put (9.70 meters), hammer throw (33.10 meters), and discus (43.27 meters)... Was the champion in discus (43.27 meters) at the GSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships
2022 (FR)- Appeared in seven meets… Competed in javelin throw, discus, shot put, and hammer throw… Posted career-best javelin throw (46.45 meters) at the GSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships to earn a 4th-place finish
Also at ACU- Member of football team
South Salem High School- Two year varsity athlete… Also played football (one year varsity) and basketball (two years varsity)
Personal- Parents- Clinton and Julie Gertenrich… Siblings- Hannah and Maddie… Favorite Bible verse is Exodus 14:14… Major is behavioral health with an emphasis in counseling… Plans to become a counselor/high school counselor
