Biography:   
Wolfgang Wood played three years of varsity basketball at Santa Margarita Catholic High School in California. Wood played AAU Basketball for both Double Pump and SoCal Soldiers. Before coming to Arizona Christian University, Wood played one season at La Sierra University.
 
 
La Sierra University: 
Before transferring to ACU, Wolfgang Wood played one season for NAIA Division 2 La Sierra University in California. Wood averaged 17 points per game, four rebounds per game and two assists. Following his freshman season, Wood won the CALPAC Freshman of the Year award and was named to the 1^st Team All CALPAC Conference team.
 
 
High School: 
Wolfgang Wood attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Southern California. Wood was named to the 2^nd Team All-Trinity League and won his team MVP award following his junior year. During Wood’s senior season, he averaged 18 points per game, along with six assists per game and six rebounds per game. Wolfgang Wood was named to the 1^st Team All-Trinity League and the 1^st Team All CIF Southern Section. Wood was also nominated All-State, to the All-Orange County Team and was the team captain and team MVP his senior season.
 
 
Personal Information:  
Wolfgang Wood was born into a basketball family. Wood’s father Leon played college basketball for the University of Arizona and for California State – Fullerton. Following his collegiate career, he played seven seasons in the NBA and won a gold medal with team USA in the 1984 Olympic Games. Wood’s mother Tia also played basketball collegiately at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA). Wolfgang’s sister Whitney Wood, currently plays college basketball at Seton Hall University. Following his time at Arizona Christian University, Wolfgang Wood hopes to play basketball overseas and then become a sports analyst or a coach.
