Prior to ACU- Played one season at Providence Christian College for Head Coach Marc Lengtat… Favorite highlight- shooting in the 80’s in first collegiate tournament
Cibola High School- Four year varsity player for Head Coach Jose Arias… Helped the Cougars advance to the state tournament… Claimed second place in the Metro League tournament… Favorite highlight- shooting a 79 in the first round of state… Also played basketball
Personal- Parents- Christina and Joe Mares… Sister- Jasmine… Brothers- Jordan and Jeremiah… Favorite Bible Verses- Psalms 23:4, Philippians 4:13… Chose ACU because it is a Christian school and the opportunity to continue golf career… Enjoys hanging out with friends and playing games… Wants to go into the FBI or become a lawyer… Major is criminal justice.
