Prior to ACU- Played one season at NCAA Division II Georgia College... Started all 11 games played for the Bobcats… Hit .297 with two home runs and two doubles… Drove in 11 and scored 9 runs… Also played two seasons at Phoenix College under Head Coach Kevin Kimball… Earned Second Team All-State, First Team All-Conference, and Gold Glove as catcher… Appeared in 51 games… Hit .291 with 14 doubles, 1 triple, 7 home runs, 34 RBI, and 27 runs in 2015

Mountain Ridge High School- Two varsity years under Head Coaches Tommy Eubanks and Will Ambos… Named Second Team All-Conference as senior and team MVP both years… Hit .414 with 6 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 18 RBI, and 22 runs in 2013… As a junior, hit .422 with 10 doubles, 1 triple, 5 home runs, 23 RBI, and 13 runs… Highlight- hitting go ahead grand slam after team was down six

Personal- Parents- David (deceased) and Cynthia Lyons… Sister- Emily Lyons… Favorite Bible Verses- Psalms 118:6-7… Choose ACU because he needed a fresh start and a place to better his relationship with God after losing his father in December 2015… Wants to play professional baseball- if not then a personal trainer and motivational speaker… Major is psychology with an emphasis in sports psychology.
