Las Vegas, NV- Saturday's game between Rocky Mountain and Arizona Christian was over almost as soon as it started as the Battlin' Bears lead from beginning to end beating the Firestorm 75-54.  Sophomore Jada Willingham topped ACU with 14 points.

The Battlin' Bears (4-1) scored the first eight points of the game and eventually held a 22-8 edge by the end of the first quarter.  By half time, the score was 42-25.

Sophomore Makayla Enders was the lone Firestorm with 10 points at the break.

Half number two was not much different as Arizona Christian never won even a quarter.  Willingham did score 12 of her 14 points in the final 20 minutes.

Sophomore Courtney Christmas also reached double digits in the score column with 12 points while topping the team with nine rebounds.  Enders remained at 10 points at game's end.

Arizona Christian was off target with their shooting.  Both teams attempted 55 shots but RMC converted 27 of them (49.1%) while ACU only hit 17 shots (30.9%).  Both teams knocked down five three pointers in their shooting totals.

The Firestorm (3-3) will face a tough task to right the ship as they play #7 Lewis-Clark State on Sunday to end their time in Las Vegas.  Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30 pm Arizona time/ 3:30 pm (Pacific).
