La Habra, CA- Hope International playing down a player really had no impact on Saturday's match as #10 Arizona Christian eased past the Royals 9-0.  The most points allowed in any set by ACU was just three.

After being spotted a 2-0 lead, the Firestorm (15-2) used 8-3 and 8-0 wins in doubles to build a 4-0 advantage.

On the singles courts, Freshman Tia Okano produced 6-1 and 6-2 results on court two to lock up the team win.

Senior Desiree Curiel lost just one game as she won 6-1 and 6-0 on court three.

With Senior Desiree Jackson given the day off, Sophomore Mikayla Morgan slid into the first singles spot and still delivered a pair of 6-2 wins.

Junior Lauryn Sullins recorded a clean sheet as she won 6-0 and 6-0 on court five.

In the final match contested on the day, Freshman Lauren Garcia made her third singles appearance of the year and recorded a 6-3, 6-1 victory on the fourth court.

On Sunday, the Firestorm will meet up with NCAA DII Cal State Los Angeles.  The match is slated for a 12:00 pm start.
