San Diego, CA- After being rained out in La Mirada trying to play Biola, Arizona Christian quickly headed down to San Diego to meet up with Point Loma Nazarene on Wednesday night.  The Firestorm came up short 5-2 to the Sea Lions despite a strong effort.

Starting with doubles, all three matches played out to 8-5 finishes with ACU winning two of them.  In the number two doubles match, Junior Alberto Lapiedra and Junior Daniel Superlano won the first team point of the night.  After the Sea Lions (9-5) won on court one, Seniors Santiago Galeffi and Marcelo Balderrama won doubles three.

Unfortunately, PLNU won the first four finished matches in straight sets to clinch the team win.  Courts four and five went down as unfinished.

The No.10 Firestorm (13-4) will return to action on Saturday versus No. 13 San Diego Christian at the Lake Murray Tennis Center.  The match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm.
