Arizona Christian Splits With Hope International

Phoenix, AZ - ACU barely lost the first game by a ninth inning run from Hope International in the 5-4 loss. In the second game, the Firestorm were able to bounce back and win 9-4 with the help of a seven run sixth inning.

"Our approach at the plate today was really something we have been working towards getting too and I am proud of our hitters and what they brought in each and every at bat our pitching staff did a great job giving us a chance to win and working their way out of some tough situations.  It was a great day of baseball and we look forward to another clean doubleheader tomorrow."
