The first round bye and two week break between matches took a toll on the Firestorm who were slow to find their footing.  Despite a few shots early in the match, ACU was unable to find the net in the first half.  This season has shown ACU to be a second half team, but that wasn't the case tonight as they were unable to convert on their scoring opportunities in the second half as well.  Tonight's loss will end the 2022 campaign for the Firestorm, but the team accomplished so much this year after being picked to finish 7th in the preseason polls.  ACU saw the development of some key pieces on the pitch this year, and will look to run it back next fall.
