Despite the Firestorm outscoring their opponent in three point field goals, free throws, second chance points, and bench points, they dropped tonight's matchup in the final seconds of play. ACU was still running on island time in the first half, coming out slow to start. The Redhaws jumped out to an early 11 point lead in the first quarter and didn't let up from there. The Firestorm shot less than 40% from the field to their detriment, as they hope to clean it up before conference play picks up again.

Next week women's basketball will travel out to California to pick up GSAC play to finish out the season. They'll take on Life Pacific on January 5th, followed by #14 Vanguard on the 7th.
