San Dimas, CA - The Arizona Christian University women's basketball team (19-8, 8-7 GSAC) ran their win streak to three games as they took down Life Pacific (1-22, 0-14) 81-50 in a rout on Saturday afternoon on the road inside Mehl Court

Thoughts from Coach:

After the game, Head Coach Rusty Rogers said, "Very difficult to get a road sweep in the GSAC but our ladies accomplished that. On top of that, we had the challenge of playing a very hungry but struggling team just two days after our emotional victory over Vanguard. We did not look sharp in the first half tonight but Kaycee Brown and Baylee Slaughter had great games and Alyssa Alvarez had her best floor game of the season with ten assists and 7 steals to make sure we did what we had to do to win going away!"

Game Details:

The Firestorm took control of the game early on as they raced out to a 23-7 first quarter lead led by 8 points from Kirsten Shinske. The Warriors didn't give up though as they fought back in the second outscoring the Firestorm 19-13 to close within 36-26 at halftime. The Warriors looked to continue their momentum in the third as they got within eight points, but that was as close as the Firestorm let them get as they responded with 28 points led by 9 from Graciela Roybal as they extended their lead to 64-40 at the end of the third quarter. The Firestorm ran away with the game in the fourth as they went on to win big 81-50 led by double doubles from Kaycee Brown and Baylee Slaughter.
