Inside the Box Score
ACU struck first with a run in the second inning after a bases-loaded walk to Ramirez. Troy Collins added an insurance run in the third with a double to left center, and Titialli provided the final ACU run of the night with a blast to left in the seventh. With his 6th homer of the season, Titialii put himself on pace to hit 24 home runs this year. Meanwhile Santa Cruz was in the midst of his best outing of the year, throwing a scoreless 7 innings with 9 strike outs. The Firestorm ace showed his first sign of fatigue in the 8th when he allowed his 2nd home run of the season. Two hit batters in the 9th would end Santa Cruz's night and would eventually come around to score sending this game to the 10th inning. That's when the Vanguard first basemen sent a walk off home run into the night, handing the Firestorm their first conference loss of the season.
