Glendale, Ariz.- On Sunday, Arizona Christian Softball will head to Irvine, CA, to compete in the 2023 GSAC Championships hosted at the Orange County Great Park.  The Firestorm enter the tournament as the two seed as play will begin on Monday.  The tournament will be a double elimination format.

The Firestorm (33-15) claimed second in the GSAC with a 15-9 record.  ACU enters postseason play on a four-game streak after sweeping Vanguard and OUAZ to close out the regular season.  Arizona Christian is 9-1 in their last ten games with their only loss coming in extra innings.

Jessup owns a 21-12 all-time edge but the teams split their season series.  The teams last met in the postseason in 2019 with ACU winning 6-5 at the OC Great Park.

The Warriors (24-21) had to sweep Menlo on Tuesday to get into the GSAC Championships and did so with a pair of 4-2 wins.  They are the third seed in Irvine.
