- Despite neither side finding the back of the net, the Firestorm controlled long stretches of play and outshot the Lions 10–10 overall while limiting Soka's chances to just four shots on goal—all stopped by ACU goalkeeper Dustin Rogers, who notched his third shutout of the season.
- Marcos Mora led the Firestorm offense with six shots, while Raul Aranda added two more attempts as ACU pushed for a winner in the second half.

The ball didn't fall for us today. The GSAC is a tough league and I'm proud of the guys for qualifying for the postseason - they have earned it."
