Firestorm Dominate Life Pacific, Win Four Straight

Glendale, Ariz. – ACU continued their strong run of form with a commanding 4–0 win over Life Pacific at ACU Soccer Field, ending early due to weather delays. The Firestorm exploded early and never looked back, earning their fourth conference win of the season to move to 7-2-2 overall and 4-1-1 in GSAC play.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • The Firestorm wasted no time setting the tone. In the 10th minute, Marcos Mora netted his first goal of the season off a setup from Jose Garcia, putting ACU ahead 1–0. 
  • Less than 30 seconds later, Garcia turned scorer, doubling the lead with help from Raul Aranda to make it 2–0.
  • Before the halftime whistle, Isaiah Gutierrez added another tally in the 42nd minute, finishing off a pass from Isaac Blanco to give the Firestorm a comfortable 3–0 advantage heading into the break.
  • The momentum carried into the second half as Raul Aranda found the back of the net in the 48th minute, assisted again by Garcia, who finished the night with a goal and two assists.
  • ACU outshot Life Pacific 14–9 and held a 5–0 edge in corner kicks, controlling possession and tempo throughout the match. 
  • The Firestorm defense was solid as well, recording their third shutout of the season behind a four-save effort from the goalkeeper Emiliano Vega
  • ACU won the game, 4-0.
