The Firestorm Dominate Southern Utah In Season Opener

Glendale, Ariz.– In a dominant performance, ACU overwhelmed Southern Utah with a commanding 14-2 victory on Saturday. ACU controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive strength. The defense played a key role, shutting down Southern Utah's low-scoring offense in the game. Blake Smith was the ACU's standout performer, who scored four goals and had two assists, while goalie Caleb Frey made 10 critical saves. Kale Parthen was another standout performer when it came to dominating faceoffs, as he won 18 out of the 19 faceoffs in the game, and ultimately, giving ACU a major advantage. The Firestorm sealed the win and improved their record to 1-0.
