Inside The Game

In the first quarter, the Firestorm scored two goals, one of which came from Carson Brown and it was assisted by Gavin Waddell. The defense allowed four goals. CSUSM led 4-2 at the end of the first.
The Firestorm scored three more goals, but the Cougars scored 4 more on their side. The score was 8-5 Cougars going into the half.
In the third quarter, the Firestorm scored another three goals, one of which Ryan Leonard scored. However, the Cougars scored another four goals, extending their lead 12-8.
In the last quarter, the Firestorm could get any momentum going, only able to score one goal. The Cougars, on the other hand, scored another two goals.
ACU lost the game, 14-9.
