Vigue’s Hat Trick Highlights ACU’s Grit Against #1 UCSD

La Jolla, Calif.– Facing one of the top teams in the nation, ACU showed flashes of firepower and resilience in a tough 16–6 road loss to undefeated UCSD. The Firestorm came out swinging, opening the scoring with a goal from Kale Parthen. Though UCSD responded with a flurry to take control early, ACU never backed down and battled to the final whistle. Parker Vigue led the way for Arizona Christian with a hat trick and one assist. Gavin Waddell also added a goal as ACU continued to apply pressure down the stretch. Goalkeeper Caleb Frey stood out for ACU, with 17 saves recorded to help contain UCSD's high-powered offense. The Firestorm also collected 35 ground balls and won 19 faceoffs, showcasing hustle and effort across the board.
