ACU Rolls Past USD With Dominant Offensive Display

San Diego, Calif.– ACU delivered a commanding performance, overpowering the University of San Diego, 15–5. With the win, the Firestorm improved to 6–4 on the season, while the Toreros remain winless at 0–9. ACU wasted no time setting the tone, erupting for six unanswered goals in the opening quarter. Carson Brown caught fire, scoring four straight goals to widen the gap to 10–2. He finished with a game-high five goals and one assist. The second half saw continued control from ACU, with goals from Caleb Schaapveld, Blake Smith, and a fourth-quarter hat trick by Gavin Waddell capping the scoring. Vigue contributed three goals and two assists, while Waddell's late surge helped seal the emphatic win. ACU dominated possession, winning 14 faceoffs and collecting 41 ground balls, while also recording 18 saves on the defensive end.
