Glendale, Ariz. - Playing for the first time on their new on-campus ACU Beach Volleyball Courts, Arizona Christian won the first two team points and the last two team points for the win over Bushnell on Thursday.
The first ACU win on home sand went to the fours pair of Alyssa Robles and Haley Tedrow who after dropping the first set stormed back to win the final two sets.
After splitting the first two sets, the twos tandem of Jaiden Zeis and Jasmin Joseph claimed the second team point.
Wave two saw the ACU fives come up just short in three sets. Emee Fellens and Emily Casner cruised in their season debut at the ones to lock up the team victory. Abigail Nelson and Abby Siebert wrapped the match with a straight sets win at the threes.
